Trailhead Paddle Shack

I primarily ask for advice on ski touring, but have also asked about light weight camping essentials. Each time I have received great advice from keen sales staff who draw on a wealth of experience. I truly enjoy going to this store. They've helped me navigate the compplex world of layering, wading into pin bindings (never turned back!), making the right investment into AT ski boots, dialing in the right cooking stove, finding deals on socks, etc. etc. and I've been happy making my informed purchases with them.

Excellent on-line shopping experience. Purchased a last minute Christmas gift on December 17 and not only the price was already on sale (for a high quality product), but it also arrived ahead of time and before Christmas. Customer service was also very responsive (I had some questions about shipping and they got in touch very fast). Recommend 100% and will be purchasing on-line from BC again!

The staff is really curious and helpful. Also very knowledgeable on different sport that the store represents. I highly recommend this store. And today they really did a great job with an unruly customer who seemed more interested in debating the fitness of people in the store to the point of being abusive. They did a great job at patiently escorting him from the store through his continued abuse. Good work. Thanks.

I have been a customer of Trailhead since the early 90ies and have experience nothing but amazing service and products. Yesterday I witnessed a very belligerent person insulting and berating staff members for no apparent reason in a loud and obnoxious way. If I may share… Indeed, there can be many factors that may have led to the person behaviour: • Concerns over what is going on in the world. • Possibly drugs • Other family/personal issues that the person may or may not be dealing with and that we are not aware of. While we cannot address the bullets, what I witnessed that day was an incredible team approach in handling this difficult situation in a very professional, courteous, and safe way. Thankfully the person was gently escorted out of the store to ensure both staff and customers remained safe. Trailhead remains a great place to shop for high quality products and you will always be greeted in a friendly and courteous way. Well done Team Trailhead, keep up the great work you do. I received some socks for Christmas that were bought in November and tried to return them on January 27th with my purchase bill in hand and was denied due to a lame return policy . Stated I had passed the due date. That is the reason why I'm giving you a 1 star. This policy is unjustified around Christmas time because people who shop early for Christmas gift get penalized. I am unlikely to return at your store.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SERVICE AND PRODUCTS!!! I recently a Hobie Mirage Compass kayak over at Trailhead. From the initial “window shopping” visit, to my purchase, even to the after-sale, everything has been so smooth with the staff and my kayak. I can’t thank the staff enough for being so professional, friendly, kind, NOT using pushy or agressive sales tactics, etc… They have been amazing and I look forward to doing business with them in the future. I will recommend anyone and everyone to visit the store!!! PLEASE SUPPORT THIS AMAZING LOCAL BUSINESS!!! They deserve our money!
